2008 Fire, Water and Ice BBQ Challenge

The 2008 Fire, Water and Ice BBQ Challenge will be held August 8th and 9th at the Kearns Oquirrh Park Fitness Center during the Festival. Don't miss the best festival of the summer on August 9th at the Kearns Oquirrh Park Fitness Center! As soon as the gates open at noon the fun & entertainment begins. There's always a long list of activities for a whole day with your closest friends and family. Come support your Utah BBQ teams against some of our neighboring states best challengers. Cooking demonstrations will also take place with a fireworks show set to light the night sky at the end of the night.

We are looking for teams to complete the field of competitors. Go to the Utah BBQ Association calendar to download a form or email Jason at jason@rainmakerawards.com to receive your Cook Application form to compete. Deadline to register your team will be August 4th.

Schedule of events:
August 8th
8:00 AM - Cook set-up
12:00 NOON - Meat Inspection
10:00 PM - 7:00 AM - Quiet Time

August 9th
Turn-in Times:
2:00 PM - Chicken
2:30 PM - Ribs
3:00 PM - Pork
3:30 PM - Brisket

4:00 - 6:00 PM - VIP Dinner

4:00 - 6:00 PM - Cooking Demonstrations by Camp Chef (Tent Pavilion)

6:00 PM - Awards Program (Tent Pavilion)
